Thirst Films' mission is to create films that address issues of justice from around the world with the hope of effecting positive social change. Founded in 2003, Thirst Films is owned and operated by Sree Nallamothu and Patrick Lohier.
Sree Nallamothu holds an MFA in Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago. She has collaborated with Sakshi, Human Rights Watch India, taught at Columbia College Chicago and worked extensively with inner-city youth from Chicago through the Community TV Network.
Patrick Lohier is a writer whose work has appeared in the Chicago Reader, NewCity, the Globe & Mail, Callaloo, African American Review and other publications.
