Documentary | trt 22 min
2000

Villagers of a Dalit colony in the southern part of Andhra Pradesh, India have been fighting their higher-caste neighbors for water rights on their own land for generations. Over time, this struggle for water has become a struggle for dignity in a country where caste discrimination determines what you are called, what you deserve and what you can become. Their challenge to this system is inspiring.
